Arizona House Advances Bill To Require That College Students Pay More Toward Tuition

In Arizona, a bill is being pushed to force college students an extra two thousand dollars a year, unless you play college athletics, they are exempt from this new law. Scholarships would not be ale to cover this addition, and military veterans are included in those who must pay this fee.

This came about after it was revealed that nearly half of the students at ASU were not paying tuition due to scholarships, federal grants, or other finical aid. The argument is that this is an over exaggeration, because the actual percent is closer to one fourth of students. One important thing to recognize is Arizona's constitution requires higher education nearly as free as possible. Kinda sticky situation when you're about to force students to drop an extra 2000 on education.
